Constantly researching the literature for new ideas, I perceive patterns and visualize solutions for new product development. I synthesize newly available techniques together with analyses of legacy or prototype systems to solve problems for my clients. Over my 25+ year career I have developed over a dozen safety-critical and security-critical architectures and products for aviation, medical and industrial applications.

Aviation applications include certified aerospace programs spanning DO-178B and DO-178C levels A through D for Flight Instrumentation, Navigation, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, and Engine Control.

Medical applications include both devices spanning infusion pumps, ECG and other vitals, CAT, orthoscopic and laparoscopic imaging and workflow, and the infrastructure necessary to integrate those devices with the Hospital and Lab Information Systems as well as Calibration and Maintenance.

Industrial and Internet of Things applications include data collection and analysis of devices for Predictive and Preventive Maintenance as well as the development of Manufacturing and Test Equipment.
